DPH series Blister Packaging Machine Heating Station
There are two types of forming in the Blister Packaging Machine, thermoforming and Cold Forming.
In the case of thermoforming, the PVC is unwound from the reel and guided to the Heating Station on the blister machine, at there under of the temperature of the Heating Plates (Upper and Lower Heating plates) the PVC will be soften and become pliable ready for blister thermoforming.
The adjustment of the Upper and Lower Heating Plates:
The Lower Heating Plate During the production of the Blister Machine, when the Lower Forming Mold rise and closed with the Upper Forming Mold, at this position, the height of the Lower Heating Plate (3) must equal to the Lower Forming Mold to make sure the PVC at the same horizontal level between the Heating Station and Forming Station. The adjustment is: To inch the Blister Machine, rise the Lower Forming Mold and stop at its highest position, to adjust the Nut (5) and (6) to make the Lower Heating Plate at the same height level as the Lower Forming Mold (normally is 375mm in height), after adjustment lock the Nut (5) and (6).
The Upper Heating Plate When the upper and lower heating plates closed, make sure the two surfaces touch evenly with each other, thus the PVC can be soften evenly. The adjustment is: Still keep the Lower Forming Mold at its highest position, at this point the Upper Heating Plate (2) downwards by the Cam (25); through the Control Panel to lower the Upper Heating Plate by Cylinder (23), now the Upper and Lower Plates closed; To adjust the Nut (12) and (13), the gap between the nut and washer should be around 1.5mm, to make the Upper Heating Plate press down on the Lower Heating Plate evenly by spring force. After adjustment rise the Upper Heating Plate through Control Panel. DPH series Blister Machine Heating Station schematic diagram:
